Note: Notifications are rolling out gradually. If you don’t see the Notifications item in your sidebar yet, it hasn’t been enabled for your account.
Delivery Channels
Delivery channels are set once and apply to all your wallets. You need at least one channel configured to receive alerts—until then, the page shows a warning that no delivery channels are set up.Telegram
- Click Connect Telegram
- Open the DeFi Orbit bot (@DeFiOrbitNotification_bot) using the link shown
- Send the bot the 12-character verification code from the settings page—the code expires in 10 minutes and works once
Discord
Toggle Discord on and paste a webhook URL for the channel where you want alerts. The URL must start withhttps://discord.com/api/webhooks/—the settings page links to Discord’s guide on creating one.
Health Factor Alerts
Each wallet has its own alert toggle, off by default. Turn it on and set the rule: Alert when Health Factor is below (or above) your threshold.
Coverage - Health factor alerts monitor your Aave V3 positions (Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche) and Morpho positions (Ethereum, Base). Positions with no debt never trigger an alert.
What the alert contains - The wallet name and address, the protocol and chain, the current health factor, and your threshold. If several wallets trip at once, they’re combined into one message per channel.
Alert Frequency
Health factors are checked every 30 minutes. To keep channels from flooding, each channel waits out a cooldown after sending:Snoozing Alerts
Every Telegram alert comes with Snooze 1h, Snooze 4h, and Snooze 24h buttons. Snoozing pauses alerts on all channels and all wallets for that period. While snoozed, the Notifications settings page shows an “Alerts snoozed” banner with the time remaining and a Cancel button to resume alerts immediately.In-App Alerts
Separately from the channels above, the notification bell in the app raises alerts on its own—no setup needed: At risk - Raised when a lending position’s health factor drops below 1.25, with severity increasing as it falls further. The alert clears automatically once the health factor recovers above 1.35. Out of range - Raised when a liquidity position leaves its price range and stops earning fees—see Out-of-Range Alerts below. Each position gets one open alert at a time, re-flagged only if the situation gets worse—so the bell stays readable.Out-of-Range Alerts
When a concentrated-liquidity position’s price leaves your range, it stops earning fees—and DeFi Orbit flags it in the notification bell. There’s nothing to configure: out-of-range monitoring covers all your active wallets automatically, on every plan. What’s monitored - Open Uniswap V3 positions across all supported EVM chains, and Aerodrome positions on Base. Positions managed by an ALM vault are skipped—the vault rebalances its own range, so there’s nothing for you to act on. Checks run every 30 minutes, so an alert lands within half an hour of the price crossing your bound. The alert - Titled with the pair (e.g. “WETH/USDC is out of range”), it tells you whether the price moved below or above your range and that fees are no longer accruing, with a View position button that opens the position’s detail page. Alert lifecycle - Each position gets one open alert: it won’t re-ping while the position stays out of range, it clears on its own once the position is back in range or closed, and a fresh alert is raised if the position leaves range again later.Note: Out-of-range alerts are in-app only today—the Telegram, Email, and Discord channels above currently deliver health factor alerts. Check the bell (or the position’s range bar on your dashboard) for range status. For more on health factors and liquidation risk, see the Lending & Borrowing Dashboard.
